Jerusalem: 4000 Years in 5 Minutes
Jews Celebrate the Liberation of the Old City on Yom Yerushalayim
REJOICE IN THE L-RD…TODAY IS YOM YERUSHALAYIM !!!
In a special Knesset session honoring Jerusalem Day, the premier marveled at the development and growth of the capital. Netanyahu tells Knesset: Jerusalem was reunited, and will never be divided again.
Jerusalem will remain united forever, Prime Minister Binyamin said Wednesday, specifically referring to east Jerusalem neighborhoods that were targets of international criticism. Speaking at the special plenum meeting in honor of Jerusalem Day, Netanyahu mentioned newer parts of the city, like Ramot, Har Homa and Gilo, as well as sites of historic significance like the Old City and Mount of Olives.
The prime minister recalled growing up in a much smaller Jerusalem. "It was a capital under fire without a way out and with a narrow horizon, and in one day, it all changed. The walls fell and we flowed in a human wave to the Western Wall," he recounted. Netanyahu said his government works to take care of both "upper Jerusalem" and "lower Jerusalem," the expressions for its spiritual and physical manifestations.
"Torah will certainly come out of Zion," the prime minister said, paraphrasing Isaiah, "and there are many yeshivas, but hi-tech also comes out [of Jerusalem] in Har Hotzvim. "Jerusalem was united 47 years ago and will never be divided again," Netanyahu concluded. It was certainly a day of euphoria and pride Jews around the world felt after the Six Day War. "Jews stood tall. They were proud to be Jewish, to go to synagogue, to walk around with a kippah, to speak Hebrew and dream about aliyah," he said. "A prince was born named 'Jerusalem of Gold.'" Edelstein said Jerusalem belongs to every Jew, near or far, believer or non-believer, left or right. "There is no deeper consensus than Jerusalem," he added.
June 7, 1967 (28 Iyar 5727), Israel captured the Old City of Jerusalem. Later that day, Defense Minister Moshe Dayan declared what is often quoted during Yom Yerushalayim: "This morning, the Israel Defense Forces liberated Jerusalem. We have united Jerusalem, the divided capital of Israel. We have returned to the holiest of our holy places, never to part from it again. To our Arab neighbors we extend, also at this hour—and with added emphasis at this hour—our hand in peace. And to our Christian and Muslim fellow citizens, we solemnly promise full religious freedom and rights. We did not come to Jerusalem for the sake of other peoples' holy places, and not to interfere with the adherents of other faiths, but in order to safeguard its entirety, and to live there together with others, in unity."
JERUSALEM IS OURS, ONE, INDIVISIBLE AND NON-NEGOTIABLE. FREEDOM OF RELIGION ONLY FEASIBLE IN JERUSALEM. JERUSALEM CITY OF PEACE; HOWEVER, IT HAS NOT ENJOYED MUCH...BUT JERUSALEM OF GOLD REIGNS IN OUR HEART AND WHILE THERE ARE JEWS IN THE WORLD, WE WILL BE WILLING TO LIVE AND DIE FOR HER...AMEN!

A Briefing on Iran's Nuclear Program
OTRO MAS PARA TU INFORMACION....OYE Y APRENDERAS QUE CERCA ESTAMOS DE UN DESASTRE MUNDIAL. Iran is a state sponsor of terrorism, supports and funds Hamas, kills civilians in Syria as we speak, threatened to destroy Israel, calls for Israel and America's destruction every day, making nuclear weapons, built underground nuclear facilities in secret under the side of a mountain for "peaceful nuclear energy", installing advanced centrifuges to make higher levels of enriched uranium, which is only for nuclear weapons, trying to build Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles which is only used to carry a nuclear warhead across the globe, threatened to close the Straight of Hormuz to choke the world's oil supply. AND YOU THINK THAT IRAN COULD BE TRUSTED?????

UNA NACION, UNA RELIGION, UN PUEBLO, UNA TORAH
The Basic Law: Israel as the Nation State of the Jewish People would not subordinate or diminish democracy or minority rights. In accordance with our jurisprudence and under authority of existing basic laws, all citizens would continue to be entitled to equal treatment under law with full civil rights, but these are political and, in part, social in nature – not collective. There are 21 Arab states, with another one possibly on the way. Israel is the one and only state championing the collective rights of the Jewish People.
It is here alone, in accordance with clear international law, that we have exercised our right to self-determination.
This is precisely as envisioned in the Balfour declaration, by the San Remo Resolution and the League of Nations Mandate (both in 1922), by the Anglo-American Treaty of 1925, by the recommendation of the UN General Assembly in 1947, by the Israeli Declaration of Independence of 1948, and now by the proposed basic law.
According to every international convention and standard, no Arab or Palestinian citizen of Israel is being or will be discriminated against by the fact that the Jewish state is the nation state of the Jewish People, and promotes collective Jewish interests and culture while treating all citizens as equal before the law. Of course, one who does not identify with the Jewish People feels less connected. But this is inevitable in every nation state where some citizens do not belong to the predominant, favored ethnic group. As a citizen in a democratic nation state, the minority member receives equal political and social rights. But as a non-member of the nation he does not bask in the same feeling of fellowship and belonging that accompanies the self-determination of the overwhelming majority.
Those of us who grew up in the US, which is not a nation state, are accustomed to the state being neutral in ethnic and religious matters. But the US is not an instance of a nation which formed a state: it is rather a state that engendered a national civic identity. This is more the exception than the rule. A majority of European countries are nation states, each, in its own way, promoting the collective interests of the predominant national groups while affording equal political rights to all citizens.
Israeli Arabs or Palestinians are free to develop their culture.
They are educated in their own language in a system they themselves fashion. This is not always the case in other nation states. But there is no Law of Return for Arabs, because this is a Jewish state established as a home for those members of the Jewish nation who want to join, and for those who must. As the sovereign nation state of the Jewish People, it is legitimate and proper that Israel promote Jewish culture, Jewish learning, Jewish history and a vibrant Jewish future here and to the extent possible, in the Diaspora. It is legitimate and proper that Israel devote resources to the ingathering of our brethren, that we commemorate Yom Hashoa and Yom Hazikaron, that we celebrate Hanukkah and Yom Ha’atzmaut.
Our status as the nation state of the Jewish People must not remain unprotected by the new constitution under which we now live. We need to correct the current legal imbalance in the basic laws so that the courts can protect rather than erode Israel’s Jewish character as conceived by our founders and as implemented by the courts before the surprise appearance of the new constitution.
Israel was established as a Jewish state, and historical justice requires that we protect and anchor this status in our basic laws. The prime minister’s commitment to pass the Basic Law: Israel as the Nation State of the Jewish People deserves the support of all us.

HAPPY 66 ISRAEL de mis amores
HOPE - Fountainheads - Yom Haatzmaut (+playlist)
Today is Israel's 66th Independence Day.
On this day, we celebrate the miracle that is Israel, which exists and flourishes against all odds and only by the grace of G-d.
We celebrate Israel's democracy, in which all citizens enjoy full civil rights regardless of their faith or ethnicity. Arab citizens of Israel serve as members of Israel's Parliament, judges on Israel's courts (including the Supreme Court), diplomats in Israel's Foreign Service and officers in Israel's armed forces.
We celebrate that all of Israel's citizens enjoy full freedom of religion. The freest Christians and Muslims in the Middle East are the Christian and Muslim citizens of the Jewish state of Israel.
While Christians throughout the Arab world are being bombed, shot and decapitated, the Christian population of Israel can worship in complete safety. While Christian populations throughout the Arab world are plummeting, the Christian population of Israel is steadily growing.
We celebrate that Israel is on the forefront of developing technology that improves our lives and our world. It is simply incredible that in 66 short years Israelis have won more Noble Prizes than the total sum of all Nobel Prizes won by Muslim nations.
We celebrate that Israel is living Isaiah 49:6 by being a "light unto the nations" as a first responder to natural catastrophes and human suffering around the world.
As we celebrate Israel, let us pray that she will continue to survive and thrive. And let us dedicate ourselves to action in support of our prayers.
TODAY IS THE 66th ANNIVERSARY OF THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE "MODERN" STATE OF ISRAEL...66 is not much...I am older!
BUT IS ONLY BY THE GRACE OF G-D THAT IT WAS POSSIBLE FOR A SMALL NATION, SURROUNDED BY ENEMIES WHO WANT TO DESTROY US AND HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO...ONLY BY THE GRACE OF G-D!!!

ISRAEL MEMORIAL DAY 2014/5774
Israel Remembers Her Fallen: ‘Without Heroes, We Wouldn’t Be Here” Israel is commemorating Memorial Day tonight. Netanyahu: “Without their sacrifices, we wouldn’t be here.” IDF Chief of Staff Benny Gantz: “In this painful position, we remember those that gave to Israel all that they could give.”
Today, Israel remembers her fallen soldiers and victims of Palestinian terrorism in a state ceremony held in Jerusalem. Speakers include Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein, and the chief rabbis of Israel. “It is difficult if not impossible to show those that haven’t experienced it the size of the grief that befell us, the intensity of the shock that grasps us, and the sense of loss that fills us,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated at the ceremony. “There, we sat at the graves of our loved ones, wept, and remembered our loved ones that fell for the sake of Zion.”
“On this day, the entire people relates to the heroes of the nation. They come from all parts of the nation and from all parts of society. The simple truth that is the most concise is this: we would not be here if it were not for their sacrifice,” Netanyahu continued. “Even if it means unparalleled pain, a great miracle happened here. Israel returned to her country, to her home, established a state and did wonders, but at this moment we should not forget that it is a privilege to be here.”
“This year, we spoke a lot about the equal burden, but we haven’t forgotten that equality isn’t here. It isn’t and it won’t be,” Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein stated. “There is no equality between the pain of a mother and the longing of a father. There is no equality between the lamenting heart of a beloved spouse and the tears of a child. Each one that is in pain has his own way.”
“There is no equality between missing persons, the ones whose issue is their body was wounded during a war, and those whose souls suffer the scars of terrorism. There is no equal burden on pain and there is no equal burden on devoted souls. Love of the country is not a burden. Devotion for this country is not a burden. Protecting the home front are fundamental values in whose name our soldiers operate.”
IDF Chief of Staff Benny Gantz added: “In this painful position, we remember those that gave to Israel all that they could give. Israel’s fallen soldiers and those murdered in hostile activities accompany us in their characters and in their absence of every step, in every one of the crossroads life throws at us.”
“We’re Silent In The Face of Bereavement”
The siren sounded at 20:00 in remembrance of the 23,169 fallen Israeli soldiers. The main ceremony was held at the Western Wall. Israeli President Shimon Peres: “The sadness is unrelenting. The happiness is missing.” Also missing are the possible descendants of more than 6,000,000 Jews dead in our SHOAH and also missing almost 30,000 of our soldiers and also victims of acts of terrorism.
GONE TO G-D BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN!
HONOR AND GLORY TO OUR FALLEN!!
IT IS VERY SIMPLE TO UNDERSTAND
“Basic Law: Israel as the Nation-State of the Jewish People.”
Here are the essentials:
1.The State of Israel is the sovereign Jewish national home. Only the Jewish people may realize self-determination in Israel.
2.The State of Israel is located in The Land of Israel, the Jewish people’s historic homeland.
3.Democracy is Israel’s political regime. Israel is founded on the principles of freedom, justice and peace according to the vision of the Prophets, and upholds the individual rights of all its citizens.
4.Every Jew has the right to come on aliya and obtain Israeli citizenship in the manner determined by law.
5.Israel aspires to gather in the Jewish exiles and strengthen its ties with the Diaspora.
6.Israel shall preserve and propagate the Jewish heritage and Jewish culture at home and abroad.
7.Jewish law shall inform Israeli legislation and shall be used to decide court cases which cannot be settled by appeal to statute or precedent.
EL GRAN SECRETO DE ISRAEL Y DEL IDF
EL GRAN SECRETO DE ISRAEL Y SUS FUERZAS ARMADAS ES LA FIRME CREENCIA EN NUESTRO D-OS...EN QUE SOMOS EL PUEBLO POR EL ESCOGIDO, EN LA TIERRA POR EL PROMETIDA Y SEGUN LA TORAH QUE EL NOS DIO...ESE ES NUESTRO SECRETO!!!
THE STATE OF ISRAEL IS...
PM Netanyahu’s statement at Sunday’s cabinet meeting:
“The State of Israel is a Jewish and democratic state. Our basic laws give full expression to the democratic side of the state. We do this by providing full equal rights to every citizen in Israel. The basic laws do this via two main laws – Basic Law: Human Dignity and Liberty and Basic Law: Freedom of Occupation.
On the other hand, that the State of Israel is the nation-state of the Jewish People is not sufficiently expressed in our basic laws, and this is what the draft basic law is meant to provide. It will define the national right of the Jewish People over the State of Israel, without infringing on the individual rights of any Israeli citizen in the State of Israel. It will reinforce the status of the Law of Return as a basic law. It will anchor in a basic law the status of the national symbols – flag, anthem, language and other aspects of our national experience. These aspects are under a constant and increasing assault from abroad and at home. But the foundation of the existence of the State of Israel stems from its being the national home of the Jewish People and from the Jewish People’s deep links to the Land of Israel.
Of course, there are those who do not want the State of Israel to be defined as the nation-state of the Jewish People. They want a Palestinian nation-state to be established alongside us and that Israel should gradually become a binational, Arab-Jewish state inside shrunken borders.
But I simply say that one cannot hold the national stick at both of its national ends. They cannot say that they want to separate from the Palestinians in order to prevent a binational state, which has a certain logic, and also sanctify a binational, Jewish-Arab state within the permanent borders of the State of Israel.
The State of Israel provides full equal rights, individual rights, to all its citizens, but it is the nation-state of one people only – the Jewish People – and of no other people. And therefore, in order to bolster the status of the State of Israel as the nation-state of the Jewish People, I intend to submit a basic law that will anchor this status. The new law will be formulated in dialogue with all components of the coalition so that the values of the State of Israel as a Jewish and democratic state are preserved.
I would like to make it clear that this is not a political matter. When the opposition, during the previous government’s term, proposed a draft law on this issue, I announced immediately that I would support it. And today, on the eve of Remembrance Day for the Fallen of Israel’s Wars, I would like to cite ‘The Silver Platter’ by Natan Alterman , which was originally published in the newspaper Davar in 1947: ‘We are the silver platter on which the Jewish State has been given you.’ This is clear; the time has come for us to legislate it.”
