ONCE UPON A TIME...THERE WERE THREE ANGELS...

The bodies of the three Israeli teenagers who were kidnapped over two weeks ago were found by security forces in a field northwest of Hebron on Monday afternoon. The discovery came after the Shin Bet focused its efforts in the area over the past two days during searches for the three abducted Israeli teens, who were abducted from a hitchhiking point in Gush Etzion. Their names are: Gil-Ad Shaer (16), Naftali Fraenkel (16) and Eyal Yifrah (19). The Shin Bet instructed search forces to focus on the town of Halhul, north of Hebron, near where the bodies were found on Monday. The bodies were found buries in an open area, three kilometers from Halhul. The searches that led to the discovery of the bodies were led by the Kfir Infantry Brigade, the elite Maglan unit, and civilian volunteers. The Shin Bet is continuing intelligence efforts to track down the two Hamas kidnappers, Marwan Kawasme and Amar Abu Aysha, as well as all those involved in the kidnapping. In a somber statement released by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu following the discovery of the bodies of Naftali Fraenkel, Eyal Yifrah and Gil-Ad Shaer, he says that "our hearts bleed, the entire nation cries" with the families of the deceased. "They were kidnapped and murdered in cold blood by animals," he says. "Hamas is responsible and Hamas will pay." Economy Minister Naftali Bennett: "Child murderers cannot be forgiven. This is a time for actions, not words." The comments amplified earlier remarks from President Shimon Peres, who said Israel would pursue the killers. "The entire nation is bowing its head with unbearable sorrow this evening," Peres said. "Over the past 18 days the nation prayed as one that the fate of our wonderful teenagers would be that they are found alive and well. Now that the bitter news has come, the entire Israeli nation mourns the premature death of our finest youth … Alongside deep sorrow, we will remain resolute to punish the atrocious terrorists. Our war on terrorism will only intensify and will not waver so that this murderous terrorism won't dare to rear its head." My deepest condolences to their families…my heart cries in sorrow for these three angels…my heart cries in pain for their families…but also my heart cries in RAGE for this abominable crime. Their only sin is having being born Jews…well…I am a Jew…and proud of it…and revenge is our demand…it will not bring these kids back…but we must hit Hamas hard…LEX TALIONIS… Gil-ad’s parents attended meeting with representatives from the ministry of defense in Tel Aviv and in 6pm they received a phone call, that asked them to return home, as fast as possible. The parents arrived together with the five sister of Gil-ad to their home and they received the news from the IDF officers waiting for them there. Upon hearing the news, the Elad settlement in which Yifrah family lives, that lost Eyal, dozens of people came to the family’s home, read the bible, and prayed for their souls. The family received the news that their son won’t return when they were at home. In Nof Ayalon, the residence of Naftali Frankel, the locals knew the chances were low, but they did not lose hope, until today when hope was gone. The prayer tent that was used to pray for their safe return, was used tonight to pray for the souls of the three boys. The parents were at home when they received the news. In the last hours the locals gather, some read the bible, and many stand in the street with tears next to the family’s home. Talmon settlement spokesperson, Ravid Sharon, said: “It is impossible to say, that even when we prayed, we did not know that it is a possibility, during this time, it is impossible to convey condolences. The feeling is that the pain is everyone’s and goes beyond family and the settlement, we know the pain is strong, but the nation’s support helps us. Even when we pray, we know that nothing is guaranteed, we try to gather strength and hope.”

BRING BACK OUR BOYS

Eyal Yifrah, Gil-Ad Shayer and Naftali Frenkel are three Israeli youths that were abducted by Islamic members of the Hamas Terrorist Organization. The Talmud says we should not pay over-sized ransoms so as not to encourage people to kidnap Jews. Even for those who reject the binding nature of halacha, at the very least the Talmud would seem to have posited solid advice for communal administration in the face of a rash of abductions. Only four days after the kidnapping of Eyal Yifrah, Gil-Ad Shayer and Naftali Frenkel, a Palestinian Authority television station broadcast an video produced by the Abu Mazen’s Fatah movement promising Israelis “Death is near.” According to Palestinian Media Watch, the official Fatah Facebook posted the video, which promotes violence and destruction in the name of Allah, on June 16. The song calls on Palestinian youth to “smash the fortress of the hopeless” and “shout: ‘Allah is Greater’” and states that “the remains of our bodies and our blood are a song of rage.” Elite soldiers in the IDF unit Yahalom (‘Diamond’ in Hebrew) uncovered hidden weapons during their search for three kidnapped teenagers. Eleven days have passed since Hamas terrorists kidnapped three Israeli teenagers in Judea and Samaria. Since then, the IDF has conducted an extensive operation to find the abducted teens and weaken Hamas’ terrorist infrastructure. The search has led soldiers into buildings and underground tunnels where they have discovered massive caches of illegal weapons. Many of these forces are members of the elite IDF unit Yahalom, a name that means ‘diamond’ in Hebrew. Throughout the year, they train to locate smuggling tunnels, defuse bombs and use live ammunition to fight underground. During widespread searches, the forces have found tunnels connected to Palestinian households through washing machines and warehouses. The tunnels and other hiding places contain everything from grenades to improvised explosive devices and substances used to make bombs. In my opinion, all these buildings where the illegal weapons and explosives are found, must be razed to the ground and their inhabitants arrested for their cooperation as accessories before and after the fact. And also, Israel must institute the death penalty for when people are convicted for these types of crimes.

R.I.P. Baruch Mizrahi and Peace to his family

Ziad Awad was re-arrested on suspicion that he murdered Baruch Mizrahi on Passover eve. Ziad Awad was one of the 1027 terrorists released in exchange for Hamas releasing Gilad Shalit. Once released, Awad’s friends and neighbors celebrated his return with a hero’s welcome. It should be clear that his terror supporting friends and neighbors are just as guilty as he is. This Hamas terrorist, convicted but released by the Government of Israel in the infamous Gilad Shalit Transaction in 2011, has been arrested for the killing of Police Chief Superintendent Baruch Mizrahi. In the final minutes before the onset of Passover, an Israeli family from Modi’in, traveling on Highway 35 by car to a family seder in the Jewish community of Kiryat Arba came under fire near the Arab village of Idhna. The driver, a man in his forties and a police officer was shot to death. His pregnant wife was struck by bullets as well and evacuated to Jerusalem’s Shaarei Zedek Medical Center in critical condition. One of their children sitting in the back seat was also hit by bullets. Ziad Awad and his son Izz Eddin Hassan Ziad Awad were arrested on May 7 by the Israel Police’s elite counter-terrorism unit in collaboration with the Shin Bet security service for the April 14 shooting of the 47-year-old father of five. The senior Awad is accused of carrying out the shooting, while his son allegedly assisted him in planning the shooting and coordinating the escape. “Like father…like son.” This is clear proof that once released/paroled, they will continue acting the same way than before. This is also clear proof to the world, that once in jailed…these animals should never be released. Or better yet, Israel must institute the death penalty and proceed in the same manner that took Eichmann to the gallows. The awful confluence of Israel’s latest hostage “situation” and the arrest of Ziad Awad should bring a painful reality into clear focus: Israel will not survive in the long-run without the mettle to stand up to life in the Middle East, and without the backbone to stand up to pressure exerted by devastated family members and to foreign governments or even the United Nations. And so, the question remains for Israel: Which Zionist principle is stronger? The commitment to maintaining a Jewish Democratic Country in the Land of Israel, or your fanatic commitment to resist all allusions to traditional Judaism. Remember the fateful words of Date-Leumi and Jabotinsky: “The Jewish People in the Promised Land with the TORAH.” Nothing else matters…the people, the land and the TORAH as a lighthouse of wisdom and our way of life. “Israel will not allow any terrorist group to trample on its citizens. Israelis are acting in self-defense.” “The idea of releasing terrorists has come to an end.”

Iraq is being overrun by Islamist terrorists and the United States is now evacuating its Baghdad embassy. The Arab Spring has led to either civil war and mass slaughter, like in Syria, or new Arab dictators, as in Egypt. Libya is degenerating into a den of terrorists, who have already murdered the American ambassador. Russian President Vladimir Putin is sending tanks into Ukraine and the thuggish strongman bestrides the world like a colossus, unchecked by American will. These facts are undeniable. The only question is whether President Obama is responsible. Obama’s argument, as laid out in his 2014 West Point commencement speech, is that his first rule of foreign policy is “don’t do anything stupid.” Military action should be reserved only for the most extreme circumstances. Americans are war-weary after Iraq and Afghanistan. Our president believes in a minimalist approach. This argument, however, is shallow. Yes, Americans are weary of entering foreign conflicts. The president is correct that we don’t want our boys dying to fight on behalf of Iraqi cowards who shed their uniforms at the first sound of gunfire. But even less do we want another 9/11 attack, and by allowing Iraq and Syria to degenerate into Afghanistan we are all but guaranteeing another hit on the United States. A lawless world cannot possibly keep America safe. I have contempt for Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki of Iraq. Increasingly autocratic, he is even more guilty of gross ingratitude. Rather than show America any kind of thanks for all that we sacrificed to give his nation its freedom, he treats America with disdain. Who wants to help a man who is becoming a despot, hates democratic Israel and reaches out to America only when he fears being strung up by jihadists? But this isn’t about Maliki, rather it’s about America. If Iraq goes under, the ensuing chaos will directly impact the security of the United States. An evacuation of Baghdad would be much worse than the shame of Saigon because at least the North Vietnamese communists did not deploy a global army of terrorists who fly planes into buildings. Al-Qaida does. I visited West Point last night with my family for their summer concert series. It was the 239th birthday of the Army and the West Point Band put on a stirring and patriotic performance. President Obama had spoken at the cadets’ commencement just two weeks earlier. Ask yourself: How did these cadets feel when President Obama got up at their graduation and told them there is increasingly no substantive role for them to play in the world? Here were young warriors, trained to fight and protect the United States, being told that the use of force has little to no application. No wonder there was such tepid applause. These bright young men and women must have been wondering why, in that case, they hadn’t instead just landed jobs in State Department. No one wants to see American troops die in foreign wars. Of course our soldiers should never be sent needlessly into harm’s way. But the threat of American force must always be present, even if it’s not deployed. People must fear the United States. What President Obama is doing by not doing, and by giving so many unnecessary speeches defending his belief in doing nothing, is removing the deterrent of a credible threat. The world believes that the United States under President Obama has no stomach for a fight. And we’re watching the effects all around us. The inmates are running the asylum. The world is slowly becoming unglued. The Islamic world especially is in a deteriorating spiral that’s positively tragic to watch. Turkey, once a proud democracy, now boasts a prime minister whose own political aides violently attack peaceful protestors. My God, Recep Tayyip Erdogan doesn’t even shy from harassing and shoving CNN reporters while they are live on the air. He no longer even shows a pretense of desiring freedom. When I was in Istanbul I was amazed to experience firsthand how YouTube is permanently blocked; Twitter was restored just two days before I arrived. These Turks were once a free people. How are they allowing this? Syria is a giant killing zone with President Obama’s red line against the use of chemical weapons being repeatedly violated without consequence. Iran sports the second most brutal and vile government on the earth, after North Korea, and thinks nothing of stoning women, hanging gays from cranes and assassinating peaceful protestors in cold blood. Worse, it funds the bloodiest terrorists around the world. But that does not stop our president from negotiating with them and allowing them to get within a few months of attaining nuclear weapons. Egypt is back to presidents who win elections with 95 percent of the vote. Nigeria’s Boko Haram is the filthiest terror group in the entire world, murdering children in large numbers and bragging about selling young girls into sexual slavery. And who most pays the biggest price for this lawlessness? Why Israel, of course, with three teenagers now kidnapped, apparently by Hamas, an organization that the United States officially labels as terrorists but whose joint government with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas we now recognize. Through all this Barack Obama drifts along, meditating on his mantra of “let’s do nothing stupid.” But I have long believed that the true sins we are guilty of in life are not the sins of commission, the mistakes we make, but rather the sins of omission, the good things we fail to do. Sometimes the dumbest thing is to fail to act because of the fear of doing dumb things. Obama is fiddling while the world is burning. Israel is already smoldering and it won’t be long before America, too, feels the heat. Last Thursday, three Israeli teenagers were kidnapped as they were returning home from their Jewish seminary: Naftali Frankel (16), Gilad Shaar (16), and Eyal Yifrach (19). The Israeli government believes that these boys are being held by the terrorist group, Hamas. Their whereabouts and their well-being are currently unknown. We believe strongly in the importance of action. We also believe deeply in the power of prayer. Now is a time for Israeli action to recover these three students. And now is the time for us to pray and ask our G-d to help them return safe and sound to their parents. In the immortal words of Golda Meir…it is just as bad for Palestinian children to die, as it is for Israeli children. A father and mother grieve and cry the same whether Palestinian of Jewish. Having said that…G-d help the IDF in the search…and if the Palestinian do not like IDF’methods…well, they can move 400 miles WEST…or let us go back to harsher methods and kidnap 300 of their children and hold them and their fate will be the exact same fate as our three boys...LEX TALIONIS!!!

The second-largest religion in 20 states is Islam BY REID WILSON June 4 at 4:13 pm Christianity is by far the largest religion in the United States; more than three-quarters of Americans identify as Christians. A little more than half of us identify as Protestants, about 23 percent as Catholic and about 2 percent as Mormon. But what about the rest of us? In the Western U.S., Buddhists represent the largest non-Christian religious bloc in most states. In 20 states, mostly in the Midwest and South, Islam is the largest non-Christian faith tradition. And in 15 states, mostly in the Northeast, Judaism has the most followers after Christianity. Hindus come in second place in Arizona and Delaware, and there are more practitioners of the Baha’i faith in South Carolina than anyone else. All these data come from the Association of Statisticians of American Religious Bodies, which conducts a U.S. Religion Census every 10 years. Here’s what their map of the second-most-practiced religions looks like:

I have friends that live in the United Kingdom and they have told me how Muslims move into an area in groups. They buy up as many businesses as they can and then run other businesses out of town. They take over local politics, schools, and housing. Once they get enough of them in the area, they actively discriminate and harass non-Muslims into moving away. Christian churches that have been a house of God for centuries are being turned into mosques. Now they are getting Muslims in Parliament and are working on instituting sharia law locally and nationally. Now they are doing the same thing here in the United States. Islamic leaders and extremists have said that they will become the predominate religion in America and change the nation to one ruled by sharia law. They are accomplishing this community after community and city by city. The first Muslim controlled city of any significance is Dearborn, Michigan where Muslims control the city government and public schools. The city police protect them and arrest Christians for trying to witness to the Muslims. Since Muslim girls are not allowed to socialize or dance with boys, the public high schools in Dearborn held a girls only prom just for the Muslims and no one said or did anything about this being a violation of the so-called separation of church and state. Christians can’t have Christmas programs with traditional Christian songs nor can they hold a Baccalaureate service for graduating seniors, but Muslims can hold a girls only prom for purely religious reasons. Murfreesboro, Tennessee is not far behind Dearborn. They also have a growing Muslim population that is starting to have an impact on the city’s culture and politics. Islam is spreading faster than many Americans realize. In a recent Pew Research study, Christianity is still the predominate religion in all fifty states. However, the second largest religion may surprise you. In twenty states, Islam is second behind Christianity. Judaism is the second largest religion in 14 states, Buddhism in 13 states, Hinduism in 2 states and Baha’i in 1 state. When the second largest religions were mapped out by state, distinct geographical patterns emerged. The states with Judaism as the second largest religion were all of the northeast states along with Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio and Tennessee. The states with Buddhism as the second largest religion were mostly western states except Arizona, which to my surprise had Hinduism as the second largest religion. Islam is the second largest religion throughout most of the central and southern states. These states are: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, South Dakota, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming. If you live in any of these states, keep your eyes open to see just what impact they are having on your community, city, county and state. If the trend continues unchecked, we will be an Islamic nation within one generation and sharia law will prevail. Your daughters and wives will lose many of their rights and privileges. They will be legally subjected to beatings and honor killings just for talking to a male without permission or male supervision from a member of their own family. We’re already seen several instances of this in this country. Christians will be openly persecuted for their religion as demonstrated in a Pennsylvania court where a Muslim judge acquitted a Muslim man of attacking and beating a man for insulting Islam. The attack was witnessed by a police officer who testified, but the judge let the Muslim attacker go free and read a riot act to the victim for insulting Islam. Are you prepared to live under Muslim sharia law? Unless something is done and Christians get active in local, state and national politics, it will happen and a lot sooner than you realize. ANNE FRANK'S BIRTHDAY

The Soul of a Young Girl: Anne Frank’s Birthday Today would have been Anne Frank’s 85th birthday. It is hard to imagine, as this Holocaust victim, this teenage diarist, this writer whose words and wisdom have reached and touched millions, will always be what the title of her journal says she is – a young girl. Anne never married. Anne never had children or grandchildren or great-grandchildren. Anne never lived the long and full life she might have. And neither did the millions of others who were murdered by the Nazis. But, as Anne says in her diary, “Who would ever think that so much went on in the soul of a young girl?” Because of Anne’s diary, we are able to glimpse a fraction of the humor and the sadness, the wisdom and the childishness – the things that made her a person. And we can wonder who she might have become, what she might have said or done. Perhaps we would have never known of her if she had lived, or maybe we would have. Like the millions who died along with her, we’ll never know who they might have been, or what went on in each of their minds and souls. So let us be thankful that we have the words of Anne Frank and the other Holocaust victims whose souls and lives are there for us to remember and to learn from. But let us never forget the millions of others who were murdered, whose souls were snuffed out, whose lives were never lived, and whose stories will never be fully told. And let us commit to providing comfort, support, and dignity to those who survived and are now living out their final years. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANNE...gone but NEVER forgotten...
