HOUSING AND SETTLEMENTS: WORSE THAN AN ATOMIC BOMB

Why doesn't Obama also label Jerusalem Arabs as “illegitimate settlers?”

Barkat Says Housing Project in Jerusalem ‘Essential’

“Israel talks with building blocks. The Palestinian Authority throws them.”
Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat rejected on Thursday a White House statement that building in Jerusalem will “poison the atmosphere” and stated that building in Jerusalem ”is essential, important and will continue with full force.”  He added, “ I will not freeze construction for anyone in Israel’s capital. Discrimination based on religion, race or gender is illegal in the United States and in any other civilized country.  “The 2,600 apartments in Givat HaMatos that we approved two years ago will enable more young people from all sectors and religions to live in Jerusalem and build their future here, thereby strengthening the capital of Israel. We will not apologize for that. “

MY PS.- LO AND BEHOLD, HERE COMES THE ANSWER FROM THE GOLFER-IN-CHIEF HIMSELF VIA ONE OF HIS PARROT-SPOKESWOMAN JEN PSAKI IN THE STATE DEPARTMENT…SOMETIMES I FEEL THAT THE MERE ANNOUNCEMENT OF SETTLEMENTS AND/OR CONSTRUCTION IS MORE EXPLOSIVE THAN ALL THE ORDINANCE WE DROPPED IN GAZA JUST RECENTLY.  THE WHITE HOUSE SHOULD RESPECTFULLY REMEMBER THAT OUR LAND IS OUR LAND…AND WE DO NOT NEED ANY PERMISSION FROM ANBODY TO BUILD WHERE WE NEED, WHEN WE NEED AND HOW WE NEED.  IF THE HADJIS DO NOT LIKE IT…THEY CAN EXERCISE THEIR GOD-GIVEN RIGHT TO GET THE HELL OUT OF ISRAEL AND LEAVE US IN PEACE!  AMEN,

State Dept. Complains New Homes in Jerusalem ‘Poison’ US Peace Plan

One man’s poison is another’s antidote. | By: Tzvi Ben-Gedalyahu | Published: October 2nd, 2014
“Israel talks with building blocks. The Palestinian Authority throws them.”

Palestinian construction workers build homes for Jews in eastern Jerusalem.
Palestinian Authority construction workers build homes for Jews in eastern Jerusalem.

The U.S. State Dept. branded advancement of a project for 2,610 homes for Arabs and Jews in Jerusalem as “poison,” a label totally rejected by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat.

The statement by State Dept. spokeswoman Jen Psaki exposes the total hypocrisy of the Obama administration’s stated policy that Israel and the Palestinian Authority should reach an agreement through negotiations.  She charged that the project for new homes in southern Jerusalem “poison the atmosphere not only with the Palestinians, but also with the very Arab governments with which Prime Minister Netanyahu said he wanted to build relations, and call into question Israel’s ultimate commitment to a peaceful negotiated settlement with the Palestinians.”

The key words are a “peaceful negotiated settlement.”

President Barack Obama has repeatedly said that Jews living in parts of Jerusalem claimed by the Palestinian Authority are “illegitimate” and”illegal.”  He and his OTHER PARROT “straight man,” U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, have claimed that the United States will not try to force an agreement on a “take it or leave it basis,” but that is exactly what they do with such statements that every “illegal” home “poisons” the atmosphere.  The construction project indeed poisons the “peace plan,” which is a misnomer for a ploy to grant the Arabs world everything they want without negotiation – Judea, Samaria, the Jordan Valley, half of Jerusalem and mass immigration of millions of Arabs whose only connection to Israel is that they are third, fourth, and fifth generation descendants of permanent “refugees” created by the United Nations for the exact purpose of holding on them as demographic weapon to eliminate Israel as a Jewish state.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu met with President Obama on Wednesday hours after Peace Now leaked the news that another bureaucratic obstacle has been removed for the construction project in the Givat HaMatos neighborhood, announced two years ago,

More than one-third of the proposed homes are slated for Arabs in the adjacent Beit Safata neighborhood. After Psaki’s condemnation and the White House’s objections that Jews are “stoking tensions” by the purchase this week of more buildings from Arabs in the Silwan area of eastern Jerusalem, Netanyahu said, “Arabs in Jerusalem freely buy apartments, and nobody says that is forbidden. I will also not say that Jews cannot buy property in Jerusalem. There cannot be discrimination between Jews and Arabs.”  Barkat said Thursday, that the Givat HaMatos project, rather than “poisoning” anything is a “necessary” step and that he will not be part of any policy that discriminates between the rights of Jews and Arabs to build in all of Jerusalem.

The Obama administration’s policy, which follows the lead of the Palestinian Authority and the Saudi 2002 Plan, does not object to Arab building in parts of Jerusalem claimed by the PA. It only objects to construction for Jews.  Some of the headlines of the American criticism are misleading are simply wrong. One large Israeli news site proclaimed, “US-Israel Ties in Crisis Over East Jerusalem Building Plans,” but the disagreement, no matter how harsh Psaki’s words, is the same tempest in the same teapot that has brewed for years.

The real “crisis” is that the Palestinian Authority, Peace Now and the U.S. State Dept. are beside themselves because of their failure to hijack the “peace process” that has been in the works for more than 20 years and which has achieved agreement after agreement that the Palestinian Authority has reneged.  Blatant violations include worsening incitement for terror and the establishment of a Palestinian Authority army, under the guise of a “police force,” but Mahmoud Abbas’ fatal mistake was to ditch the entire premise of the process that a final status agreement is to be reached through “negotiations.” Israel has turned the other cheek dozens of times, but the Netanyahu government has held hits red line concerning Jerusalem remaining united.
Abbas’ insistence to ditch Washington and ask the United Nations to demand that Israel agree to his demands by 2016 only aggravates the “crisis” in Foggy Bottom, which has not been able to admit that its decades-old refusal to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital has been a disaster.

Instead, it constantly “condemns” Israel, as Psaki did on Wednesday, and chides Abbas for going to the United Nations.  Psaki, helpless in the face of Kerry’s stubbornness to force Abbas’s demand down Israel’s throat, has little to fall back on except to insist that the United States’ concerns are not so much “about what is in the interests of the Palestinian people and the interests of the Israeli people…[but] is about what is in the interest of the United States.”

What exactly is in the interest of the United States?

Plans for a previously announced huge construction project in eastern Jerusalem were reported on Wednesday hours before the meeting between Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and President Barack Obama Wednesday.  The 2,610 apartment project was not officially announced but was leaked through social network media and by Peace Now.  In fact, it was announced in December 2012 and includes approximately 800 units for Arabs in the nearby neighborhood of Beit Safafa, but everyone is jumping all over themselves as if this is a new plan.

Housing construction in Israel can take years from their announcement until bulldozers go to work. However, establishment media report every bureaucratic step in building plans as if the project is something new, resulting in fictional numbers.  Whether or not the plans for new homes were posted – or re-posted -  again by the government or by Peace Now, as a Housing Ministry official suggested, the report is a clear message to Washington that the Palestinian Authority can forget about dividing the city along the old 1949-1967 borders.

The project is slated for the neighborhood of Givat HaMatos, near Gilo in southern Jerusalem.  Housing Ministry spokesman Ariel Rosenberg did not confirm or deny the new project. But Bloomberg News reported, “Rosenberg said in a phone call that Peace Now probably released the information today to embarrass Netanyahu before his meeting with President Barack Obama.”  Referring to plans to develop an area in Maaleh Adumim, east of Jerusalem, Peace Now stated, “Like the E1 plan, it divides the potential Palestinian state and blocks the possibility to connect the Palestinian neighborhoods in south Jerusalem with the future Palestinian state.”  The European Union stated, “At this delicate moment after the Gaza ceasefire, it is essential to avoid actions that may increase tensions, in particular in East Jerusalem.”  There really is not much tension. The Palestinian Authority’s openly anti-Semitic remarks this week, calling Israel genocidal and comparing Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu with the ISIS leaders, has reduced the entire “diplomatic process” to an illusion.

There is no tension because neither Israel nor the Palestinian Authority really cares what the other side says.

No one in the Obama administration really has explained that, except to suggest that “two states for two peoples” will make the world a safer place, solve the Iranian nuclear threat, eliminate ISIS, bring peace to Syria, Yemen, Somalia, Afghanistan, Iraq and maybe even the Ukraine, and justify Obama’s having received the Nobel Prize for Peace.

MY PS- AND MAYBE, JUST MAYBE…WILL HELP HIM IMPROVE HIS PERFORMANCE IN GOLF COURSE, SO AFTER HIS 840 DAYS/11 HOURS/40 MINUTES AND AROUND 50 SECONDS LEFT IN THE WHITE HOUSE, BARUK HASHEM, HUSSEiN OBAMA – FORMER PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA - COULD DEDICATE HIMSELF TO GOLF, HIS PRESIDENTIAL LIBRARY AND THE PURSUIT OF HAPINESS.

VP Joe Biden’s new national security adviser

Vice President Joe Biden’s new national security adviser

Colin Kahl, a former deputy secretary of defense for the Middle East in President Obama’s first administration, was recently named Vice President Joe Biden’s national security adviser and deputy assistant to the president. But, as Lee Smith reports in the Weekly Standard, Kahl is perhaps best known – or would be, if more people realized who was responsible – for deleting the reference to Jerusalem as the eternal, undivided capital of Israel in the Democratic platform during the last presidential campaign.

In advance of the CNAS report’s publication, Kahl wrote an astonishing op-ed in the Washington Post which sought to convince readers that Israel made things much worse than they would have been when it bombed Iraq’s Osirik reactor, and that there would be similar or still more disastrous results should Israel dare to attack Iran’s nuclear weapons plants. Think that’s a mischaracterization? The title of the op-ed is “An Israeli attack against Iran would backfire — just like Israel’s 1981 strike on Iran.”

Kahl warned in his op-ed that if Israel were to strike it would doom the likelihood of Iran’s cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency. “An Israeli strike would also end any prospect of Iran cooperating with the IAEA, seriously undermining the international community’s ability to detect rebuilding efforts.”  It seems Kahl may be the only one still holding out hope that Iran will ever cooperate with the IAEA regardless of any action by Israel. He also claimed Saddam was nowhere near ready to create nukes, so Israel’s Osirik mission was premature and ill-advised.

Why Joe Biden – someone most Israel supporters used to consider reliably pro-Israel, would pick someone like Kahl is a mystery.

PRESIDENTIAL PARDONS FOR YOM-KIPPUR

A PRESIDENTIAL PARDON FOR YOM-KIPPUR

Israel’s President Ruby Rivlin recites Slichot, the prayers for forgiveness that are said leading up to Yom Kippur. This slichot prayer session was held at the President’s official residence.

Speaking of presidential pardons, it would be good if this were the year that JONATHAN POLLARD was let free.

Speaking of presidential pardons, it would be good if this were the year that ALLAN GROSS was let free.

09/11/2001 TAUGHT ME EVERYTHING I WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT MUSLIMS

WE MAY ALSO ADD THE BOSTON MARATHON BOMBERS, ALSO MUSLIMS
THE KILLINGS PERPETRATED BY ISIS

I AM TOLD BY MY PRESIDENT THAT THIS IS JUST A COINCIDENCE...THAT NOT ALL muslims ARE THE SAME...SORRY CHIEF, DON'T BUY THAT!

WHY I AM ANTI-MUSLIM…this is not an apology…these are my REASONS...

I AM AN AMERICAN CITIZEN AND COMING FROM COMMUNIST CUBA, I APPRECIATE AND LOVE THIS COUNTRY VERY MUCH AND WILL DEFEND IT WITH MY LIFE IF I AM CALLED TO DO SO AND AGREE WITH THE CIRCUMSTANCES OF THIS SACRIFICE.  I WILL NOT BE AT THE BECK-AND-CALL OF THIS ADMINISTRATION TO DEFEND HADJIS IN THEIR FRATRICIDAL CIVIL WARS BUT REPEAT I WILL BE MANNING THE BARRICADE HERE IN HIALEAH AGAINST OUR ENEMIES FROM FAR AWAY AND ALSO FROM HERE.

I RECENTLY READ AN ARTICLE ABOUT A HOT SPRINGS, ARKANSAS LADY BY THE NAME OF JAN MORGAN, OWNER OF THE GUN CAVE INDOOR SHOOTING RANGE. THE AUTHOR OF THE ARTICLES IS Tzvi Ben Gedalyahu, a graduate in journalism and economics from The George Washington University. He has worked as a cub reporter in rural Virginia and as senior copy editor for major Canadian metropolitan dailies. Tzvi wrote for Arutz Sheva for several years before joining the Jewish Press.

WELL, I FIND MYSELF IN COMPLETE AGREEMENT WITH THE WORDS OF THIS BEAUTIFUL LADY FROM ARKANSAS, HOPEFULLY SHE WILL NOT BE OFFENDED IF I QUOTE SOME OF HER WORDS AND THOUGHTS AND MODIFY THEM TO THE EXPERIENCES OF MY LIFE.

Following are reasons for a “ USA-Muslim-free-zone.”
Complete with certain words misspelled...LOL

1) The koran, which I have read and studied thoroughly and (which all muslims align themselves with), contains 109 verses commanding hate, murder and terror against all human beings who refuse to submit or convert to islam….

2) My life has been threatened repeatedly by muslims who are angry that I have studied their koran and have, over the past two years, been exposing the vileness of the Koran and its murderous directives.

3) The barbaric act of beheading an innocent American in Oklahoma by a muslim; labelled "violence in the workplace."  * the Boston bombings(by muslims)...it could be labelled "violence in a sports event."  * the Fort Hood mass shooting (by a muslim) that killed 13 people and injured over 30
people.  Also labelled "violence in the workplace."  And now he would like to be a citizen and soldier of ISIS.  * and the murder of 3000 innocent people (by muslims) on 9/11 that it could be labelled as an "airline-industry-violence in the air."  This is more than enough loss of life on my home soil at the hands of muslims to substantiate my position that muslims can and will follow the directives in their Koran and kill here at home.

4) Because of the nature of the life of freedom in this country, in an enclosed environment,  I am not comfortable being around muslims who align themselves with a religion that clearly commands hate, murder, and violence against all non muslims…..perhaps because I insist in wearing my kippah as a symbol of my religion, protected by the First Amendment of the Constitution of the USA.

5) My feelings against muslims is based on the fact that they align themselves with a religion that commands him to kill me, because I am consider an "infidel."  But I do not care, as my love for HASHEM knows no bounds...

6) I do not like muslims, who belong to and, or, support ISIS, are threatening to kill innocent Americans. muslims, who belong to or support AL Qaeda, are threatening to kill innocent Americans.  muslims who belong to or support HAMAS are threatening to kill innocent Americans….and believe when I state that it is from the "moderate" muslims that "radical muslims come from.  They do not come from the moon they so-adore...
Every muslim then, has the possibility and/or probability of becoming radicalized at one point of their lives.  And the ones that do not change...well, they are the ones that support the others with funds, protection, food and lodgings, transportation, etc.

7) I have the RIGHT and RESPONSIBILITY to help provide a safe environment for the great people of this nation who provided us with asylum when we had to leave our beloved homeland of Cuba.  That is why we all have to be vigilant!

8) I have no way of looking at islam other than as a theocracy, not a religion. islam is undoubtedly the union of political, legal, and religious ideologies. In other words law, religion and state are forged together to form what muslims refer to as “The Nation of islam.” Once again it is given the sovereign qualities of a nation with clerics in the governing body and sharia law all in one. This is a theocracy, not a religion.  And, as far as I am concerned we already have a fine set of laws in this country...laws that make us equal and free.  The US Constitution does not protect a theocracy. The 1st Amendment
is very specific about protecting the rights of individuals from the government, as it concerns the practice of religions, not theocracies. It clearly differentiates between government and religion. Again protecting the individual’s religious beliefs and practices from (the state) government. In islam religion and state are one....making it a theocracy, not a religion.  We are a Nation governed by laws, or the law of the land the U.S. Constitution. We are not a Nation that is governed by religion, politicians or clerics. How then, can anyone say that, the practice of Islam is protected by the U.S. Constitution? The muslim brotherhood has a documented plan for the destruction of America from within, discovered by our own government during a raid of MB operatives in America. In addition, I am very cognizant of the civilization jihad under way in my country by American muslims. In a number of states muslims, through our legal system, are trying to force us to accept sharia law over Constitutional law. I do not wish to do business with people who stand against the Constitution and are fighting to replace it.  And for your information, islam is already the second largest religion in more than 20 of our states, our beloved Florida included.

9) islam allows muslims to kill their own children, (honor killing) if the behavior of those children embarrasses or dishonors the family name. (did you know that dating outside of the faith is justification for murdering their daughters and this has already occurred on American soil?) Why would I want people (who believe it’s okay to murder their own children), be in the presence of other children?

10) In the 14-hundred-year history of islam, muslims have murdered over 270 million people. Not all muslims are terrorists, but almost all terrorists in the world right now are muslim, since political terrorism is in the decline.  Since you can’t determine by visual assessment, which ones will kill you and which ones will not, I am going to go with the line of thought that ANY HUMAN BEING who would either knowingly or unknowingly support a “religion” that commands the murder of all people who refuse to submit or convert to that religion, is not someone I want to know or do business with, work with and would not want them to be my neighbors.  I hold adults accountable for the religion they align themselves with.

Yom Kippur, the holiest day of the year, celebrates our relationship with G-d

Yom Kippur, the holiest day of the year, celebrates our relationship with G-d. It provides a special opportunity for each of us to bond with our very essence, the part within us that forever remains close to G-d.  All of us at Chabad.org wish for you to be sealed in the Book of Life for a good and sweet new year!

The day is the most solemn of the year, yet an undertone of joy suffuses it. A joy that revels in our connection with our Creator and expresses confidence that, as the doors of judgement close, our prayers will be accepted and we will be granted a year of goodness, life, health and happiness.

During Yom Kippur of old, one High Priest, serving one G-d, in G-d's one Temple, on His one holiest day, would beseech Him on behalf of His one people.  Today, one person, making one good resolution, doing one good deed—can change the entire world.

This Yom Kippur, you hold the keys to the world's future.

Your good deed, your primal cry from the depths of your soul, can penetrate the Gates of Heaven and tip the scales for all of humankind.  Our Sages teach us that a crucial part of our service to G-d is to give generously of our earnings to charity.

We work hard to earn our income. We pour all of our energy—our soul—into it. When we then give it away to charity—when we recognize that we are but G-d's appointed caretakers of the resources He entrusted to us and act on His behalf to distribute it—we demonstrate one of the highest levels of faith a human being can achieve: We give a piece of our very soul.

In preparation for Yom Kippur, when we pray that the power of our one soul be propelled by the power of the one day to reach the very essence of our one G-d, let us demonstrate our faith. Let us bare our very soul by giving freely and generously to charity.

President Hussein Obama's Administration was caught off guard by an Israeli announcement on Wednesday to move ahead with the construction of 2,610 settlement units in east Jerusalem, US sources told The Jerusalem Post, prompting an intentionally sharpened response from the White House.  Wednesday's surprise was rooted in the date of the announcement: US President Barack Obama hosted Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu at the White House for two hours on the very same day, along with both of their national security teams.

Officials chose to publicly admonish the Israeli government less than an hour after its premier left the building, presumably deciding on the language as the two leaders met in the Oval Office.  "This development will only draw condemnation from the international community," White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said afterwards. "It also would call into question Israel's ultimate commitment to a peaceful negotiated settlement with the Palestinians."

State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki came out with similar language as the premier departed for Joint Base Andrews air force base.  In March of 2010, during a visit by Vice President Joe Biden to Israel, a settlement announcement released through local press took both Biden and Netanyahu by surprise. US officials at the time said they expected advanced notice on all future announcement plans.  Only months later, Obama and Netanyahu clashed through comments in the press on additional settlements planned for east Jerusalem, near the new units announced on Wednesday. To that critique, in November 2010, Netanyahu's office responded: "Jerusalem is not a settlement; Jerusalem is the capital of the State of Israel."

The homes will be built in Givat Hamatos, an area of the city that Palestinians believe should be a part of their future state.

The Jerusalem Municipality approved the project in December 2012, but waited almost two years - until the date of the bilateral meeting - to place news of the approval in a local Israeli paper, according to Peace Now, an organization opposed to Israel's presence beyond its 1967 borders.

Hamas and Fatah Already Fighting Over Gaza Funds

“Armed robbery in broad daylight.” — Hamas “seized” $750,000 from Gaza bank.

Fatah accused Hamas of “squandering” $700 million of financial aid earmarked for the Palestinian victims of war. Fatah wants to ensure that the millions of dollars intended for the Gaza Strip will pass through its hands and not end up in Hamas’s bank accounts. Relying on Fatah in this regard is like asking a cat to guard the milk.  The head of the Palestinian Authority’s Anti-Corruption Commission revealed that his group has retrieved $70 million of public funds fund embezzled by Palestinian officials. Arab and Western donors need to make sure that their money does not end up (once again) in the wrong hands. Without a proper mechanism of accountability and transparency, hundreds of millions of dollars are likely to find their way into the bank accounts of both Hamas and Fatah leaders.

EVIL CREATED THEM and THEY RE-CREATED EVIL
As efforts are underway to hold an international conference in Cairo for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip in the aftermath of Operation Protective Edge, the two major Palestinian parties, Hamas and Fatah, are already accusing each other of stealing funds that were channeled to help Palestinian families.  It is not clear at this stage how much money has made its way into the Gaza Strip since the Egypt-brokered cease-fire was announced late August.  But it is clear by now that both Hamas and Fatah are engaged in a fight over who will control the funds and assume responsibility for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip.

The war between Hamas and Fatah over the funds earmarked for the residents of the Gaza Strip is being fought over every penny and dollar. This is a power struggle in which the only losers are those Palestinians who lost their homes and family members during the military confrontation with Israel. Hamas and Fatah know that hundreds of millions of dollars will sooner or later be allocated by Arab and Western donors for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip. The two parties are determined to lay their hands on the funds, knowing that he who controls the money controls the people.

Both Hamas and Fatah are desperate for cash and are ready to do everything to enrich their coffers, even if that means robbing a bank.  This is exactly what Hamas did last week. Sources in the Gaza Strip said that Hamas security officers raided the Bank of Palestine in Gaza City’s Rimal neighborhood and “seized” $750,000 in cash.  The sources said that the cash belonged to the Palestinian Jawwal Cellular Company. They said that the raid on the bank came on the pretext that the company had not paid all its tax debts to Hamas. Palestinians in the Gaza Strip described the raid as an “armed robbery in broad daylight.”

The “armed robbery” came shortly after Fatah accused Hamas of “squandering” $700 million of financial aid earmarked for the Palestinian victims of the war. It is not clear where this large sum came from. Fatah spokesman Ahmed Assaf claimed in an interview with an Egyptian TV station that the funds were donations from many countries. He said that Hamas collected the donations “in the name of children, women and the elderly under the pretext of rebuilding what was destroyed by Israel.” The money, he added, did not reach its destination.  Assaf’s charges are seen as part of a Fatah-orchestrated campaign to prevent donors from dealing with Hamas. Fatah wants to ensure that the millions of dollars intended for the Gaza Strip will pass through its hands and not end up in Hamas’s bank accounts.

During the military confrontation, Fatah leaders in Ramallah issued a strong condemnation of Hamas. They said the Islamist movement was stealing relief aid dispatched to the Gaza Strip and distributing it among its followers in mosques. But then who said that Fatah could be trusted when it comes to distributing financial aid? Relying on Fatah in this regard is like asking a cat to guard the milk. The 20-year-old Fatah-dominated Palestinian Authority [PA] is notorious for its financial and administrative corruption.  Earlier this month, Rafik Natsheh, head of the PA’s Anti-Corruption Commission, revealed that his department has managed to retrieve $70 million of public funds embezzled by Palestinian officials. He also said that his department uncovered 60 more cases of financial corruption in 2013.

But what is most notable is that some Fatah officials are now accusing their own supporters of stealing funds provided by the PA leadership to the Gaza Strip. A Fatah-affiliated news website revealed that Fatah leaders in the Gaza Strip have been distributing the funds among their family members and friends. The report said that Hamas officials also succeeded in laying their hands on the funds arriving from the office of the Palestinian Authority president in Ramallah.  A Fatah member in the Gaza Strip was quoted as saying, “A Palestinian Authority official bought chocolate for 300 Shekels ($90) while our men are being ignored and cannot afford to use public transportation or feed their children.”

He and dozens of Fatah activists in the Gaza Strip wrote a letter to PA President Mahmoud Abbas, asking him to form a commission of inquiry into the embezzlement of financial aid meant for Palestinian families.  The rising tensions between Hamas and Fatah following the war do not bode well for efforts to achieve Palestinian “national unity.” Some PLO leaders in Ramallah are now talking about a permanent split between the West Bank and Gaza Strip as a result of the Hamas-Fatah power struggle.  PLO Secretary-General Yasser Abed Rabbo said this week that the Gaza Strip was “closer than ever to being separated from the West Bank” due to the ongoing Fatah-Hamas rivalry.

However, what is at stake here is not only Palestinian “unity.” Fatah and Hamas will continue to fight and quarrel over everything from financial to political and ideological issues. “Unity” is one victim of this power struggle. The other victim is the effort to rebuild the Gaza Strip and help its residents.  When they are not fighting over political and ideological matters, Hamas and Fatah are scrambling for money. Under the current circumstances, Arab and Western donors who are willing to contribute to helping the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip need to make sure that their money does not end up (once again) in the wrong hands. Without a proper mechanism of accountability and transparency, hundreds of millions of dollars are likely to find their way into the bank accounts of both Hamas and Fatah leaders.

The rise of Islamic extremism is not new.

The rise of Islamic extremism is not new. It is not a surprise. The mission of jihadists has been clearly broadcast for years:

HAMAS
The Hamas Charter was drafted in 1988. It mentions the word “jihad” 36 times in the charter. Its enemy is spelled out clearly: Jews.  “In order to face the usurpation of Palestine by the Jews, we have no escape from raising the banner of Jihad.”  “Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it” Jew/s/ish is mentioned 12 times in its charter. “Zion/ism/ist” is mentioned 20 times.  Hamas was democratically elected by the Palestinian people in 2006 to carry out a war against the Jews and to destroy Israel. The attacks against Israel in the summer of 2014 were a consistent part of its mission.

Al Qaeda did not suddenly appear on 9/11/2001. In 1998, it stated its goal of killing all Americans:  “Weissue the following fatwa to all Muslims: The ruling to kill the Americans and their allies — civilians and military – is an individual duty for every Muslim who can do it in any country in which it is possible to do it” Al Qaeda has not backed down on its pledge while the US has enlisted the world support to defeat the group.

BOKO HARAM
The kidnapping of over 200 Christian girls in Nigeria in April 2014 shocked the world. Boko Haram made no secret of its targeted enemy a few years earlier: Christians.  “The Nigerian state and Christians are our enemies and we will be launching attacks on the Nigerian state and its security apparatus as well as churches until we achieve our goal of establishing an Islamic state in place of the secular state.”  The world has tweeted its support to bring back the girls and has provided support to find the attackers.  Many extremist groups continue to operate around the MENA region: Al-Shabaab, ISIS and Khorasan are only a few. Their aims are clear. Their path is jihad. Only the name of the infidel changes based on where the jihadists operate.  What is the world reaction to each of these extremist groups? Is the global community clear in its response?  A few years ago, the United Nations established an anti-terrorism unit. Its directive has noble goals for combating terrorism such as stopping the flow of funds and people to these groups. However, the committee has not been clear about who the terrorists are, as it only mentions Al-Qaeda and the Taliban as terrorist groups. These other jihadists could thereby escape sanctions.

Jihad is Jihad.
Terrorism is Terrorism.
The world must unite to stop it.
The goal must be clear and unequivocal.

MY PS.- THIS IS ALL VERY CLEAR TO UNDERSTAND…BUT REMEMBER OBAMA IS OBAMA…and I deeply believe him to be a muslim-in-the-closet.  THERE NO DIFFERENCES AMONG THESE ORGANIZATIONS AND ISIS IS HAMAS AND HAMAS IS ISIS.  YOU MAY REFER BACK TO ONE OF MY PREVIOUS ARTICLES OF A HISTORIC NATURE REMEMBERING THE MAHDIST WAR IN SUDAN…WHEN ANOTHER ONE OF THESE FANATICS TRIED TO ORGANIZE ANOTHER islamic caliphate WHICH ENDED IN ANOTHER BLOODBATH, ALL THESE PEOPLE ARE LIKE 24hr-VAMPIRES…THEY NEED BLOOD TO SURVIVE AND THE WANT IT ALL THE TIME…THE BLOOD OF INNOCENT VICTIMS, THE BETTER…THE ONLY EFFECTIVE LAW TO DEAL WITH THEM IS “LEX TALIONIS.”  WE NEED A JUDEO-CHRISTIAN CRUSADE AND IF SOME HADJIS FEEL THAT THEIR INTERESTS ARE THREATENED AND WANT TO PICHT IN…OK.  AMEN

ISIS IS HAMAS AND HAMAS IS ISIS. “The Nazis believed in a master race; the militant Islamists believe in a master faith,” Netanyahu said in his speech at the annual gathering of the 193-nation assembly in New York.  How true it is!!!!

And in the words of the author: Batya Medad who blogs at Shiloh Musings. “We Israelis would prefer that our Prime Minister use actions rather than words. Nothing he says or pictures he shows will ever earn us friends and allies among United Nations member nations. We have only one true ally and leader, and it’s not a person or country. We are His servants. And we say in our prayers:

אל מלך נאמן El Melech Ne’eman, God is the Faithful King!”

Chana Rachel Webermache: the first Hassidic feminist

The municipality decided to name a street “HaBetula meLudmir”, or in English, “The Virgin from Ludmir.” As you can imagine, using the word “Virgin” in a Jerusalem street name might upset some sensitive religious sensibilities.  But before you decide that the Jerusalem Municipality is trying to upset its Hareidi citizens, here is a little background.

The Virgin of Ludmir was the name given to Chana Rachel Webermacher (1805-1888), born in the town of Ludmir, Volhynia (now the Ukraine).  Webermacher was an unusual person. At one point in her life she decided to take on many of the ritual practices usually reserved for men, such as wearing Talit and T’fillin (possibly even wearing 2 pairs of T’fillin).  Due to community pressure in Ludmir, she got married and quickly divorced. Webermacher gained the reputation as a holy woman, and in 1860, she made Aliyah and moved to Jerusalem.

But what made her most unusual, is that it appears that Webermacher actually held court in her MeahIn short, the first Hassidic feminist.  She died in 1888, and was buried on the Mount of Olives.
Shearim home, with her own Hassidim, receiving her followers, handing out blessings and presiding over a regular Shabbos Tish, just like any other Hassidic Admor.  It’s also known that Webermacher studied Kababla, taught Torah to women, and prayed with women at the Kotel and at Rachel’s Tomb.

In order to relieve Hareidi displeasure at having the word “Virgin” in the street name, the committee decided to change the name of the street to “The Virgin of Ludmir – Chana Rachel Webermacher”.  The Hareidi representatives deemed that a respectable compromise. What is not yet known is which Jerusalem neighborhood will welcome the Virgin.

Palestinian deadline: Israel should withdraw to the 1967 borders by 2016

While Obama and Netanyahu are conferring the Palestinians turned to the UN Security Council and submitted a draft resolution that will force Israel to return to the 1967 borders, including East Jerusalem.

While Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and President Barack Obama were discussing various issues, the Palestinians turned to the UN Security Council and submitted a draft resolution that will force Israel to return to the 1967 borders by November 2016.

According to the AP news agency report, this step follows P.A.Chairman Abu Mazen's statement in the UN General Assembly, where he said that he will turn to the Security Council in order to set a deadline for Israel's withdrawal and in order to establish basic principles that will guide future talks with Israel.

The resolution will ratify the UN Security Council's past decision to help progress a solution that will end "Israel's occupation promptly and will realize the two states vision and the establishment of a sovereign and democratic Palestinian state, living alongside Israel, peacefully, and securely along the 1967 borders".

ANY RELATIONSHIP WITH DON QUIJOTE AND SANCHO is pure coincidence….lol

From the outset of his presidency, Obama embarked upon his infamous mea culpa tour of the Middle East. Bypassing the only constitutional, democratic country in the Middle East, Israel, he culminated his trip with the nefarious Cairo speech of June 4, 2009.

Blinded by reality the speech was replete with disingenuous paragraphs such as: “I have come here to seek a new beginning between the United States and Muslims around the world; one based upon mutual interest and mutual respect; and one based upon the truth that America and Islam are not exclusive, and need not be in competition. Instead, they overlap, and share common principles, principles of justice and progress; tolerance and the dignity of all human beings.”

Long persecuted Copts present in the audience might vehemently have disagreed. Islamic common principles of justice, tolerance, and dignity for all human beings which overlap with that of America? People less blinded with his rhetoric may also have asked when last a person was allowed to practice Christianity, Judaism, or any other religion for that matter in Saudi Arabia? Shared value with America? Awash with misogyny, homophobia, honor killings and other foundational maleficence, Sharia law is the quintessential antithesis of American constitutional values.

In 2012, Dr. Sebastian L. v. Gorka, Military Affairs Fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies,
said: “The Obama Administration is rapidly revising federal counter-terrorism training materials in order to eliminate references to Jihad and Islam.” He went on to say: “The administration believes there are “good” Islamists and “bad” Islamists and the former can be dealt with. He said this policy is apparent in the decision by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to have contact with the Muslim Brotherhood “Supreme Guide” Mohammed Badei.” The same Muslim Brotherhood that hatched such wonderful groups as Al-Qaeda, Hamas, and Hezbollah, yet was erroneously described by Director of National Intelligence, James Clapper as a “largely secular organization.”

In November 2009, screaming “Allahu Akbar” (God is great) as he shot and killed thirteen fellow soldiers, maiming thirty others, former army psychiatrist, Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan recently asked to become a citizen of ISIS. Despite numerous communications with his mentor, the now deceased American born terrorist, Al-Awlaki, and by his own admission: “I don’t think what I did was wrong because it was for the greater cause of helping my Muslim brothers,” this Administration still refuses to categorize the Fort Hood massacre as an Islamic terrorist attack. For reasons of their own they continue to depict it as work place violence. Shunning abundant evidence of Hasan’s affiliation to Islamic terrorism. Both the FBI and the military, most likely for career considerations allowed this loose cannon to succeed with his mayhem. Grievously this trend has continued.

PS.-  AS I SAID BEFORE: “ANY RELATIONSHIP WITH DON QUIJOTE AND SANCHO is pure coincidence. lol.”
