OUR ONE AND ONLY KOTEL
Behold, I and the children whom
the LORD hath given me shall be for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD
of hosts, who dwelleth in Mount Zion. ISAIAH (8:18)
After foretelling of the upcoming
Assyrian invasion, the prophet Isaiah takes steps to ensure that there will
always remain a firm group of believers in God's salvation. He goes so far as
to name his children with names of hope and promise, as signs that the
redemption will come. Isaiah points out
that God's Divine Presence will eternally reside on Mount Zion. God will never abandon His land or His
people, He remains with His Children, even while in exile, and guarantees that
He will redeem them at the right time. Help us continue to spread the message
of God's eternal presence in the Holy Jerusalem.
