To all who care, Shalom u'veracha,
The day of judgement has arrived. no, not your day of judgement, that will be in a few weeks, I mean the national day of judgement, the one that decides whether we are are worthy of keeping the little we have and have taken for granted or will it be taken from us leading to a bloodbath that may lead to the ultimate expulsion.
Those that wish to blame this exclusively on Obama/Kerry and Netanyahu are wrong, this is the culmination of an agreement called the road map that began with Bush/Sharon that calls for all pre-Oslo prisoners to be released (over 2,000). The establishment of a 23rd state for the Arabs of Israel is also part of the same deal. That process has been proceeding daily specifically in area C with the PA under the cover and protection of Israel's Civil administration (IDF) who are making this new Arab state a reality.
This nation building process that has been enacted daily since the road map was agreed to, intensifying and amplified over the last years. This was,is and continues with the full knowledge of all the existing rabbinical, political and organizational leadership representing the Jews of Yesha. If they have, are and will continue stating otherwise, they are lying.
The Jewish nation has had ample time to find alternatives in leadership, reject the party line of the national religious camp, work outside the system and completely reject the military dictates of the Civil administration.
As I am writing these few words the radio in the background continues to interview the families of the murdered souls as the government votes this morning to release 104 mass murdering Arabs back to their homes right next store to where we live. The last time, in the Jibril exchange, when a large scale release of Fatah prisoners occurred we were awarded the first Intifada. This, is so the correct atmosphere can be created so that final status negotiations can begin in order that the next and possibly final atrocity can commence. Regarding the Arab terrorists who the gov, intends on releasing, where has everyone been until now? Why have the families of all these murdered souls not attended the trials of these murderers pressuring the judges and the system to do justice and demanding non stop with endless vigil's and hunger strikes over all the past years at the homes of the judges and politicians for the one and only minimal and meaningful response - the Arab murderers be put to death.!
The Arabs show up in force, bussing in all family members, organizing, encouraging and promoting NGO's, foreign and local journalists, diplomats and local and foreign politicians to all the hearings, trials, appeals and sentencing in force, completely demoralizing and intimidating the prosecution and military judges.
Now, the morning of the final vote, a few come to symbolically demonstrate, predictably, the politicians capitulate.
As I reflect on why and how we have arrived at this junction, the impotence of the complete present day leadership, Rabbinic and political, the wretched impotence of the families who are shocked at what is about to happen, I cannot help but think, who did what to prevent this, what is being done now and what will be done in the future, by whom?? As the negotiations proceed, what emerges will be the parameters of the next expulsion. The options available to those who understand the need to prevent this atrocity center around refusal to bow and conform to government dictates. This can only happen with the radicalization of Yesha's inhabitants beginning with the removal of the fences surrounding our communities. This would send a clear message to the gov. what was, will not continue.
Responsively, the gov will react by activating its usual bag of tricks to deter all opposition by, isolating, demonizing, intimidating and finally neutralizing the few who have and wont fall in line. When I look around to see who's there, the picture is not good. The bottom line, success is dependent on the level of commitment.
First and foremost on everyone mind has to be what have I done, what am I doing and what will I do to stop this atrocity from materializing that may lead to the collapse of this country. Know that we cannot travel due to the legal battles being waged against us, the organization, because of what we stand for, what we believe, what we say and most important, what we do! Know that it costs almost $200 to fill up the trucks gas tank, we are in the courts daily, we are in the field daily, we take more given risk daily than the average person takes in his lifetime. We are dependent on a very small circle of supporters to fight the daily battles that are part of the overall war that has enveloped us over time. We are not and cannot be in the same category as other groups, organizations that can and will always have support because of who the are and what they stand for. There is always support for schools, food , hospitals, medical, victims, etc. But, there is very little support for the ideology, narrative and actions we represent, this is largely because of the galut / bavli mentality that is what most of Judaism represents today. So when we are finally able to find one or a few individuals who understand the issues, realize the dangers and understand the need for major change and are willing to act, yes, we need to expect a certain level of commitment. For after all are we not in the same boat, are we not acting out of the same set of beliefs, aspiring to the same goals and to enact real change. We cannot move forward if the rear is not supplying the necessary support, that would be suicidal. This would be the equivalent of us activating people here in Israel, sending them to confrontational situations on all different levels and not follow through with the necessary logistics and legal support required, before, during and after action is done.
