After the rocket fire and its violation of the ceasefire, security officials claimed that Hamas stopped firing rockets. According to them, the terrorist organization was troubled by the situation and therefore, arrested the ceasefire violators. Sep 17, 2014, 09:39AM | Rachel Avraham
After three weeks of the existence of a ceasefire, it was broken when one rocket was fired from the Gaza Strip last night. Today, security officials announced that Hamas arrested the rocket launchers because they were concerned about having another war with Israel and therefore, that is why they arrested those who fired as quickly as possible.
According to the security officials, the policies were explained to the Israeli leadership, who refused to comment publicly on the rocket fire from Gaza. The Prime Minister, the Defense Minister, and the other Cabinet ministers did not address the issue, even after the IDF confirmed that the rocket landed in Israel and Netanyahu declared in the past, “if Hamas will renew the rocket fire, we will not tolerate a barrage on any part of the State of Israel.”
The sources reported that the news of the arrest of the rocket launchers came after the rocket fire, via mediation channels. Hamas sent to Israeli security officials a message, according to which they are committed to the ceasefire and will try to find out who broke it. Israel responded that they expect Hamas to arrest and punish the rocket launchers or there will be an appropriate military response.
“Hamas responded very quickly,” the security official stated after the announcement of the arrest of the rocket launchers. “It probably happened because they were troubled by the situation.”
PS.- VEEEERY STRANGE INDEED....or they are really worried of another Israel punitive action of they are master at propaganda. Or in the immortal words of the late infamous-per-excellence Obergruppenfuherer Reinhard Heydrich: "We control events better when we control opinions and one sure way of controlling opinions is by a total control of the media."
