C.U.F.I. at the service of the people of ISRAEL

The Middle East is going from very bad to even worse.  Syria and Iraq are falling apart.  The Islamic State (ISIS) is so bloodthirsty that even the expert murderers of Al Qaeda want nothing to do with them.  And since there are no Jews left in these countries to kill, ISIS is busy slaughtering Christians and other religious minorities.  At the same time, Israelis spent their summer in bomb shelters or on the front lines fighting the terrorists of Hamas.

In the midst of this darkness, CUFI has emerged as a ray of light for Israel and the Jewish people. Immediately after Israel's summer war, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said "I consider CUFI to be a vital part of Israel's national security." Prime Minister Netanyahu's statement demonstrates that our support for Israel in our nation's capital and in our communities is making a difference.
Thus far in 2014, we've made great efforts to defend Israel here in America by:
  • Running full page ads in America's 19 largest newspapers - including the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, and USA Today - to educate the American public about Hamas' true agenda during the summer war.
  • Sending a high profile solidarity mission to Israel in the middle of Operation Protective Edge with 51 CUFI pastors - one from each state in the union and Washington, D.C.
  • Bringing 60 millennial generation Christian leaders and 35 campus leaders on three fact-finding missions to Israel over the course of the summer.
  •  Empowering 5,000 Christians to speak to their Members of Congress in support of Israel during the CUFI Washington Summit.
  • Providing scholarships for 450 campus leaders to attend the CUFI Washington Summit.
  • Educating our 1.9 million CUFI members through email updates and conference calls.
  • Keeping our 1.2 million Facebook fans and 15,000 Twitter followers updated on the Middle East and Israel multiple times a day, seven days a week.
  • Directly educating tens of thousands of Christians through over 240 pro-Israel events across the country.
  • Urging our elected officials to support Israel at critical junctures through action of alerts which sent hundreds of thousands of e-mails to Capitol Hill and the White House.

As 2014 draws to a close, we hope you will prayerfully consider including CUFI in your year-end giving. We know of nothing more urgent or rewarding than standing up for the Jewish state and her people right now! We ask that you consider making a gift to CUFI while you are planning your tax deductible, end-of-the-year giving.he Middle East is going from very bad to even worse.
