One year ago, on November 7, 2013, thousands of lives were changed when Typhoon Haiyan struck the Philippines. IDF search and rescue experts, doctors, and medical teams – trained to provide emergency aid in crises – immediately left for the Philippines and joined the international effort to support the devastated country.
