TEARS and SORROW

IT IS TODAY, WITH SORROW IN MY HEART AND TEARS IN MY EYES THAT I HAVE WANTED TO PUBLISH THE NAMES OF THOSE IDF SOLDIERS WHO DIED FOR THEIR/OUR COUNTRY...ISRAEL...THEIR BLOOD KISSED THE SOIL OF THE NATION THAT THEY WERE DEFENDING AGAINST A RUTHLESS ENEMY. I AM SURE THAT THEY WOULD HAVE PREFERRED TO BE HOME ON A PEACEFUL SUNDAY...BUT THEY HAD THEIR DUTY...THE SACRED DUTY OF EVERY JEW...TO DEFEND OUR NATION OF ISRAEL. I WOULD GLADLY EXCHANGE PLACES WITH ANY OF THEM...THE TITLE HONOR AND GLORY THIS TIME IS CHANGED TO TEARS AND SORROW...MAY THE L-RD OF ISRAEL GIVE COMFORT TO THEIR FAMILIES AND FRIENDS...AS FOR ME, IN FAR AWAY MIAMI, I FEEL AS IF I HAD LOST SOME OF MY CHILDREN...REST IN PEACE MY BRAVE SOLDIERS OF ISRAEL...MY SONS FROM FARAWAY...AND ALL MY LOVE TO YOUR FAMILIES...ALSO MY FAMILIES! NEVER BEFORE I HAVE BEEN SO PROUD OF BEING A JEW...

From our Kaddish we quote: “In the world which will be renewed and where He will give life to the dead and raise them to eternal life and rebuild the city of Jerusalem and complete His temple there and uproot foreign worship from the earth and restore Heavenly worship to its position and may the Holy One, blessed is He, reign in His sovereign splendor.”

From the Maleh Rahamim we quote: “G-d Full of Mercy set in heaven, give proper rest on the wings of the Divine Presence to this pure and heroes. Souls of soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces and underground fighters who fell in Israel's wars and all the fighters in the people who risked their lives to die for taking the name, and with the help of God for Israel led to the rebirth of the forearm and the state and redeemed the land and the city of God and all those who were killed in the country and abroad waged by terror. Therefore, the Merciful will give them wings forever, and the bond of life with the soul. The Lord is their inheritance, heaven rest, and they rest in peace, and their fate will end right, and said.” Amen.
