“4-Year-Old Israeli Boy killed by Mortar Fired From UNRWA School in Gaza”

The  IDF is reporting that the Hamas mortar that killed 4-year-old Daniel Tragerman today was fired from near an UNRWA school being used as a shelter in Gaza.  The UN is calling for an investigation into “war crimes”?  Perhaps it is the UN who should be investigated for war crimes.

Daniel Tregerman, a 4-year-old boy was killed in a Gaza mortar attack on Israel late on Friday afternoon as he played in the living room of his family home, local media reported.  The rocket struck a nearby car in the southern Sha’ar Hanegev region critically injuring the boy with shrapnel who later died of his wounds.  According to Israeli security officials cited by Israel’s Ynet News, the projectile was fired from the grounds of a school run by UNRWA in the Shejajiah neighborhood in Gaza City.  Magen David Adom paramedics attempted to perform CPR on the child, but their efforts failed. Five others were lightly wounded in the attack.  Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld tweeted, “Sadly a 4 year old child dies from his wounds after mortar strike in the negev region. Damage caused to buildings and cars in area.”

According to Channel 10, Magen David Adom rescue services rushed the boy to hospital, listing him in grave condition. A short time later, the boy was pronounced dead.

The incident occurred in a kibbutz in the Sha’ar Hanegev regional council. According to Channel 2,

Palestinians in Gaza fired a barrage of mortars at the kibbutz, one of which exploded in a location near where the boy, who was later identified as Daniel Tregerman, was standing. Daniel was the oldest son in the family. His brother survived. Sirens wailed only very shortly before the mortar shell struck outside the Tragerman family home at the kibbutz, and his parents — Doron and Gila — were unable to get their son Daniel into their protected room in time. He was killed by shrapnel from the explosion that smashed into the house.

A mortar shell had exploded near a kibbutz buildings, and as a result the family had planned to go to her parents in Kiryat Ono. “Suitcases were ready ahead of time. Just before the fatal explosion I went to take the carrier of Uri (her baby) and I met my neighbor…  We did not manage to pick up the kids and get to shelter. ”  “Daniel was disciplined and was always quick to get to shelter. Once the alarm sounds, he always knew what to do and where to go.  Always.  When everyone would come to the shelter, Daniel would say, ‘Now we are all safe.’”  “He was a pretty smart kid and sensitive. So sweet.”

I Saw the Shrapnel Throw Daniel to the Floor”

One day after they brought their four-year-old son to rest, Brought to rest a day after the four-year-old son, the parents of Daniel Tregerman told the media of the great pain and difficult images that are enough for a lifetime. "I covered Daniel and we ran away from the hell. We sincerely wish to live in Nahal Oz, but terrible things happened there, we cannot go back to that place," they said, weeping.

Three days after Daniel Tregerman was killed by a mortar at his home in Nahal Oz, his parents, Doron and Gila spoke to the media about the horrific moment. "Within seconds you realize it's not near the fence or in an open are, but really on you,” the father said in a trembling voice.

"Everything happened so fast, three seconds after the alarm I realized that it fell right through the walls here," continued Doron Tregerman. "I saw the shrapnel flying in front of me and throw Daniel to the floor, I realize that this thing came into our home, I turned around to our daughter Yuval, I took her and threw her to her mother in the shelter. Gila wanted wanted to call someone, but I knew there was no need to call someone to come.”

"I was next to Daniel a second or two before I covered him," says the grieving father. "I immediately ran to the shelter and took Gila and just two kids and we ran from this hell when we leave Daniel behind. It was like a movie, since then we are trying to get through it day by day, step by step.”

"The most powerful memory I have left of Daniel is at the last moment that I looked at him, just as the siren went off,” recalled his mother, Gila. "He left the tent he was playing in  the living room and I told him to run to the shelter but he has this frozen look in his eyes.”

"We Want to Live in Nahal Oz, But We Cannot Go Back to That Place"

At the height of Operation Protective Edge, the Tregerman family left Kibbutz Nahal Oz, and returned after the first cease-fire declaration.  On the day that Daniel was killed by a mortar shell, the parents intended to leave again with their children, because of the danger of fire from Gaza.
“On the way to Jerusalem we heard the fire continued and we knew that in fact everything remained the same, and it wasn’t really over. After two weeks in Kiryat Ono with our parents, we returned to the kibbutz to get back to routine after so much time away, we wanted to go back home.  Over the weekend, our family wanted us to come to the north, but we told them we would come on Saturday because we need to be home," said Doron Tregerman in tears.

"We very much want to live in Nahal Oz," added Gila. "We planned to build our home there, but we cannot go back to that place. Shocking things happened there, really terrible." Doron added: "You never think it will happen to you. We really hope there will be peace and Daniel will be the last casualty."

President Rivlin: "Daniel is Everyone’s Child, You Paid In Blood Which Has No Price”

Yesterday, hundreds attended the funeral of Daniel Tregerman who was buried in the Chevel Shalom cemetery in the Eshkol Regional Council.  President Reuven Rivlin eulogized the late Daniel: "We were very afraid of this moment.  We've seen pictures of destroyed children's homes and kindergartens with abandoned toys.  We hoped it would end with this but we were wrong.  We bury the child for whose sake we fight, the boy who paid the heaviest price of all for life here in our country, our homeland.”

In an attempt to comfort the bereaved parents the President said, "Daniel is everyone’s child.  You paid in blood, which has no price, you are protecting the State of Israel with your bodies. No one has the right to require you to stay here, but we can assure you that you are not alone. The entire country is embracing you.”

 PS.-  AND I DARE ADD…

Would the United Nations do something about it?
Would Hussein Obama do something about it?
Would the European Union do something about it?
Would the ICC do something about it?
I doubt it….nobody would do something about it…only the State of Israel…

Since we know where the rocket came from, regardless of being next to a UN compound, we should retaliate immediately and bomb the hell out of the place…regardless of collateral damage…so what, as far as the international opinion is concerned…with Israel is damn-if-you-do or damn-if-you-don’t…as usual throughout time…

MAY THE LORD OPEN THE GATES OF HEAVEN FOR DANIEL...SOLDIER OF ISRAEL!!!
MAY THE LORD GRANT SUCCOR TO HIS PARENTS, RELATIVES AND FRIENDS
